Buttoning Up has never been more affordable!
This year’s Button Up workshop, co-sponsored by our Green Team and the Town of Middlebury Energy Committee, will be held in Unity Hall on Wednesday, November 20, at 6:30 p.m.
Weatherization efforts save you money and keep your homes comfortable, all while using less heating fuel! According to Efficiency Vermont, the fossil fuels burned to keep homes and buildings warm are the second highest source of carbon emissions in Vermont, close behind transportation. That’s why Efficiency Vermont and our church’s Green team support the annual Button Up Vermont campaign.
Middlebury is one of more than 50 towns across the state that have signed up to be “Button Up Vermont” community partners. In addition to conducting this special weatherization workshop, led by Dave Keefe, Energy Consultant at Efficiency Vermont, and home energy tours, Efficiency Vermont will offer a limited number of free home energy visits to workshop attendees.
We hope the workshop on November 20 will help you be more comfortable, save you money, and reduce your heating footprint this winter! More details on the Step Up to Button Up website.
