As we worship together on the first Sunday of May, we will be doing the new thing of virtually leading the Sacrament of Holy Communion. Ahead of worship this Sunday, we invite you to watch Elizabeth’s Reflection on Holy Communion (recorded 4/23) and Andy’s Reflection (recorded 4/29) on our Facebook video page.
We believe that God makes the ordinary holy. We hope that on Sunday morning, you can prepare some kind of bread and some kind of drink to bring to worship with you. It should be something that you and/or your household may break and share. Perhaps you want to put them on a special tablecloth and light a candle or place a flower or plant beside the bread and the cup, as we would for the communion table in the sanctuary. In the breaking of bread and sharing of cup, we trust that Christ comes to us even when we gather virtually. Thanks be to God!
Our public Facebook page is a great way to stay in touch with the church. There you can find our worship services, musical offerings by Jeff Buettner and Jessica Allen, and weekly reflections by the pastors.
